Advanced relations

Advanced relations link a concept to concept schemes. Advanced relations are shown and managed in the Advanced relations tab of the Edit concept panel.

  • To associate a concept with a concept scheme:

    1. Select the the plus button in the CONCEPT SCHEME column. The Find concept field appears.
    2. Type something in the Find concept field: concept schemes with matching names are listed below. Select the desired concept scheme from the list.

  • To dissociate a concept from a concept scheme, hover over the concept scheme name in the CONCEPT SCHEME column and select the X button .

  • To make the current concept a top concept for a concept scheme:

    1. Select the the plus button in the TOP CONCEPT OF column. The Find concept field appears.
    2. Type something in the Find concept field: concept schemes with matching names are listed below. Select the desired concept scheme from the list.

    If the concept is not already associated with the concept scheme, it gets automatically associated and you will see the name of the concept scheme appear in the CONCEPT SCHEME column.

  • To delete the "top concept of" association, hover over the concept scheme name in the TOP CONCEPT OF column and select the X button .
