Export facets

If you need to select specific library properties and export them in JSON format in order to analyze their structure, you can use the Export facets feature in the list view:

  1. Select Export in the left panel.
  2. Enter the optional filename or confirm the suggested one.
  3. Enter the Number of items to be exported. Items are sorted by descending frequency. The maximum number of items to export is 25000.
  4. Check the resources boxes you need in the Resources, Entities and Tokens sub-tabs, then select Export.
  5. Select Download in the Download tab or in the notification in the lower right corner to download the JSON file.

Note

The exported items are dependent on any filtering set.

Disable most relevant terms suggestion

Loading the MOST RELEVANT TERMS bar when in list view can be quite expensive in terms of time, so if you want to speed up the displaying of documents you can disable this feature.

  • To disable the bar, select Disable most relevant terms suggestion .
  • To enable the bar, select Enable most relevant terms suggestion .

Show original spacing

Spacing may vary after a document has been converted.

In detail view, to display the original version, select the ellipsis related to the document name, then select Show original text spacing.

To go back to the converted document spacing, select , then select Show justified text spacing.

Delete documents

In detail view:

  • Select the ellipsis above the document, then select Delete document .

In list view:

  • Select a document (multiple selections with CTRL+CLICK and SHIFT+CLICK are NOT allowed), then Delete document .

Change the document language

In the list view:

  1. Select the documents (multiple selections with CTRL+CLICK and SHIFT+CLICK are allowed).
  2. Select Change language .

Warning

The annotation features are disabled in documents in a language other than the one selected for the project.

Copy a document text to the clipboard

To copy a document text to the clipboard, in the detail view, select the ellipsis related the document name, then Copy to clipboard.

Add new categories to the taxonomy

It is possible to add new categories to the taxonomy directly in the Documents tab.

In detail view, right panel, or in list view, left panel:

  1. Select the Entities or Tokens tab.
  2. Expand an entity or a token type (when in list view).
  3. Select or hover over an item.
  4. Select Add new category .
  5. Confirm No Broader in Broader category to create a broader typed under Category or type a broader category in Broader category to create a narrower category under Category in the window.
  6. Select Create.

Add new categories by selecting portions of text

To add new categories by selecting portions of text when in detail view:

  1. Select a portion of text, a widget is displayed.
  2. Select Create category.

  3. Select the taxonomy position in Broader category in the New category dialog.

  4. Select Create.

Show category in resources

To display an item in the Resources tab, in list view, left panel:

  1. Select the Taxonomy tab on the left.
  2. Select or hover over an item.
  3. Select Show in resources .

Or:

  1. Select or hover over an item under Taxonomy in the Resources panel on the right.
  2. Select Show resources .

In the detail view:

  1. Select the Taxonomy tab on the left.
  2. Select or hover over an item.
  3. Select Show resources .

Show category information

In list view, left panel:

  1. Select the Taxonomy tab.
  2. Select or hover over an item.
  3. Select Show information .

In the detail view, right panel, or in the list view, left panel:

  1. Select the Tokens tab.
  2. Expand the Main Lemmas or Lemmas or Syncons token types.
  3. Hover over an item and select Search token type in knowledge graph .

Perform a search using a category

To perform a category-based search:

  1. Select or hover over a category in the Resources panel, under Taxonomy when in list view.

    Or:

    Select or hover over a category in the Taxonomy panel on the right when in detail view.

  2. Select Search .
