Thesaurus projects

Thesaurus projects produce concept-recognizing models with dual purpose:

• Extract the expressions of concepts from text.
• Determine whether or not a text is about a knowledge domain.

Platform allows defining thesauri from scratch, but can also import and export SKOS thesauri.

Note

Unlike in categorization and extraction projects, in thesaurus projects it is not necessary to provide annotated documents to train the models (the training library). Thanks to the underlying semantic analysis technology, it is enough for training to define the concepts of the thesaurus and the semantic relationship between them.
