Edit a service account
To edit a service account:
- Select the icon with your initials in the upper right corner of the page to open the user menu.
- Choose Administration to open the view with the same name.
- Select the Service accounts tab on the vertical menu of the left of the page.

Select the account from the list in the Service account panel. Account's detail are shown in the right part of the page. Then:
- To change the name of service, edit the Name field.
- To change the role of the account select the new role from the Role drop-down menu.
- To change the description of service, edit the Description field.
- To toggle the activation status of the account select User activation. Services with a deactivated account cannot use the backoffice API.

To regenerate the client secret:
- Select Regenerate. A dialog will appear showing the new client secret.
- Select Copy to clipboard to copy the client secret to the clipboard.
- Paste and store the contents of the clipboard in a safe place, for example a password manager, because this is the only time you will see the client secret in NL Flow, although you will still be able to regenerate it.
