Upload a manifest

For the manifest of a custom component to be valid it must contain values for these properties:

  • category
  • id
  • name
  • type
  • image
  • version

The combination of id and version must be unique in the EI-Flow inventory.

  • To upload the manifest of a public custom component, in the Custom components page select Upload component on the toolbar above the list of components.

  • To upload the manifest of a project custom component:

    • If the project has just been created, select Upload custom components inside the Assets panel.

    Otherwise:

    1. If not already opened, open the project.

    2. If not already selected, select the Assets tab on the top toolbar, then:

      • If the project doesn't have assets, select Upload custom component.
      • If the project already has some assets, select the plus icon at the top of the left panel then choose Upload custom component.

In all the cases above a dialog appears:

  1. Select Upload to select the file containing the manifest JSON. The JSON will appear in the editor.

    Or:

    • Type or paste the manifest JSON in the editor.

  2. Select Save to launch the upload.
