Manage the ready-to-use modules

It is possible to develop custom modules, but Studio makes available some ready-to-use modules that are helpful for a set of operations as described in the following table:

DomPost Post-processing of output categories' labels
NormalizePost Normalization of extracted values
MergePost Merger of extraction records
Moment Parsing, validation and manipulation of dates and times
JmesPath Parsing and navigation of JSON objects based on the JMESPath query language
JsonPath Parsing and navigation of JSON objects based on the JSONPath query language
JsonPlug Free style manipulation of results
tagHierarchy Tag the hierarchy

Install a module

  1. right-click an item in the rules folder.
  2. Select Modules, then the module of your interest.
  3. Select Install.

Rollback a module

If you modified something on an installed module, and you want roll it back to the original version:

  1. right-click an item in the rules folder.
  2. Select Modules, then the module of your interest.
  3. Select Rollback.

Update a module

If a new module version is available, to update it:

  1. right-click an item in the rules folder.
  2. Select Modules, then the module of your interest.
  3. Select Update.

Note

If a new version of a module is available, a notification is displayed in the lower right corner after starting Studio.

Uninstall/Delete a module

  • Select the module of your interest, then press the Del key.

Or:

  • right-click the module of your interest, then select Delete.
