Manage the Local Deployment Agent

The Local Deployment Agent allows you to test the project in the production environment.

The Local Deployment Agent is an API that has a programmatic access to the text intelligence engine.

It is possible to find libraries in GitHub.

Start the Local Deployment Agent

To start the Local Deployment Agent:

  • Select Studio > Start Local Deployment Agent in the main menu.

Or:

  • Select Start. in the Console tool window, Local Deployment Agent tab.

The Local Deployment Agent requires inbound TCP/IP connectivity which Windows Defender Firewall blocks by default. The first time you start the Local Deployment Agent, the Windows Defender Firewall prompt appears.

To use the Local Deployment Agent allow Studio to communicate on private networks.

Stop the Local Deployment Agent

If the Local Deployment Agent is running, select Stop .

Change the port

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Enter the Port value in the Studio Setting window.
