Workflow status

The status of a workflow is visually represented by a colored ring icon.
The line style of the ring corresponds to the publishing mode:

• Solid line: the workflow was last published in synchronous mode or has never been published.
• Dashed line: the workflow was last published in asynchronous mode.

The color of the ring reflects the status and the usability. It should be noted that a published workflow requires that the services corresponding to the visible blocks in the diagram are activated, but also other support services not corresponding to visible blocks must be activated.

The colors are:

• Gray: the workflow is not published, therefore it's not usable.
• Red: the workflow is not usable either because of an error or because not enough services have been activated yet.
• Orange: only for synchronous workflows, the workflow is not usable because publication is in progress but some required service is still not available.
• Yellow: only for synchronous workflows, the workflow is partially published, but is already usable because at least one replica of every service is already active.
• Green: the workflow is usable.

In the detail of the status of a workflow you can find this information:

• Whether the workflow is active or not.
• The mode, synchronous or asynchronous.
• Latest publication date and time.

• The status of the main services, represented by a colored circle icon.
  The color can be:

  • Red: the service is not active: it is either off or being turned on.
  • Yellow: the service is partially available because at least one replica of the latest version of the software/configuration has been instantiated. This can be enough for the workflow to be responsive if also all the other services of the workflow are fully or partially available.
  • Green: the service is fully active, the maximum configured number of replicas of the latest version of the software/configuration has been instantiated.
  • The status of each replica of the service.
