Create an API key

To create a new API key:

• In the API keys view of the dashboard select Create API key at the top of the left panel.

Or:

• In the first step of the publication wizard select Create new API key.

In both cases a dialog appears, asking for the name of the key and an identifying color. Enter that information and select Generate key.
The value of the key is shown.

Warning

The value of the key is visible only at this time. It is therefore necessary to copy the value elsewhere before closing the dialog.

Select Copy to clipboard to copy the key value to the clipboard then paste and store the value in a safe place, for example a password manager.
